Tips for Nomination

Why are we offering this award?

We want to ensure that the selection process is as fair and transparent as possible. If you're considering nominating someone for this award, here are the criteria that will be used to evaluate each candidate:

  • Innovation: We're looking for inventory managers who think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to the challenges they face. Has the candidate implemented new systems or processes that have improved efficiency and productivity?

  • Impact on Practice: Inventory managers are responsible for ensuring that the clinic has all the supplies and equipment it needs to provide top-notch care to patients. We'll be looking at whether the candidate has made a measurable impact on the practice, such as reducing waste, controlling costs, or improving patient outcomes.

  • Impact on Team: Inventory managers often work closely with other staff members, including veterinarians, technicians, and administrative staff. We'll be looking at whether the candidate has fostered a positive and collaborative work environment and has helped to develop the skills of their colleagues.

  • Skills Assessment: We'll be looking at the candidate's overall skillset, including their technical expertise, organizational abilities, communication skills, and leadership qualities.

  • Overall Performance: Finally, we'll be evaluating the candidate's overall performance as an inventory manager. Have they consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, and have they earned the respect and admiration of their colleagues and peers?

When submitting a nomination, be sure to include as much information as possible on the quantitative and qualitative impact of the candidate on the practice. The more information you provide, the better equipped our selection committee will be to evaluate each candidate fairly and accurately.

Inventory Ally is a specialized, intelligent software that makes inventory management simple, automated, and intuitive.

Instead of constantly manually updating your PIMS and placing endless orders, you’ll check in with Inventory Ally for about 15 minutes each week on a particular segment of your inventory. You’ll tell it roughly what you have on hand, it’ll analyze past data to see how much you’ve ordered and used, and then it’ll recommend how much to buy—rinse and repeat!

By monitoring your consumption patterns over time, it automagically tracks your inventory levels and fine-tunes its recommendations for more efficiency, ease, and profitability. It’s like a second brain for you and a magic wand waved over your PIMS, giving you back precious time, sanity, and savings.
