In this episode of the Inventory Nation Podcast, I’m delighted to be joined by Kirk Augustine, the founder and president of Animal Health Digest.
A seasoned animal health industry consultant and adviser, he has more than three decades of work roles and consulting experience in manufacturing and distribution, including channel strategies; reorganization, marketing, sales, purchasing, inventory control, training and campaign development.
In his role before starting Animal Health Digest, Kirk provided support services and content to animal health manufacturers, distributors and industry aggregators throughout North America as executive vice president of business development at Veterinary Advantage.
Kirk is the original creator of SoundBytes, now seen in Vet Advantage and Today’s Veterinary Business. In the late 1990’s, he wrote, developed and led a training effort that provided an inventory management curriculum to veterinary practices called IMPACT. That program and two additional iterations were presented to about 3000 practices over a period of 5-6 years.
